There’s not much credit for the Thori/kid Loki parallel characters thing going on to the “Journey Into Mystery” comics.
I think inventing Thori was literally the best thing Kieron Gillen did for Loki’s redeeming. It made him look more human, more a teenage boy than a hated villain. And just like Thor and his little revived brother, Loki is the only one who believes in Thori.
