Teachers are NOT the issue when it comes to education. The real problem, is how little they are paid, and the lack of respect they are given by the public. Unions are the only thing that ensures they DO get a fair wage and health care. If it weren’t for Unions, they would be treated even worse.
Want to see an improvement in education, start fairly compensating teachers, and offering to pay teachers what they’re worth for the amount of work they do. Then you might see high quality educators willing to go into teaching as a profession, instead of passing it by for a profession that will actually compensate them for what they’re worth.
